notice how the blue and orange really pop? they're complimentary colors, opposite poles on the same axis on the color wheel. purple goes with yellow, green goes with red, the list is nearly infinite. kinda like a visual circle of fifths in music talk. i dig the effect. you get more brilliance from the same color.

I have made that type of braid, and mine weren't half as neat/symmetrical as those!

I actually like the plain cylinders on the lanyards, but the skulls work too.

[quote]While i should have been studying for my gmat next week i've been wasting my time braiding. i've been playing with variations of colors and lengths for my sak's and fixed blades. couple d-guards for the busses. here are a few. some are mine, some are spoken for, some...well i'll make room in my PM box. ![[Linked Image from eden.rutgers.edu]](http://eden.rutgers.edu/~mghattas/lanyards/P1000824.JPG) hi this is pit man's son. i have a mora similar to yours and i was wondering if you could tell me how to do the wrap on the sheath.

i guess that makes you pitboy!
i'll be honest, that was a pain in the hind quarters. easy to explain, hard to execute. since there are no holes in the sheath you just fold the paracord in half and hang it over the tip end of the sheath as far from the guard side as you want it to extend. on the back of the sheath, in the center, begin wrapping it strider-style and work your way toward the guard side. it's difficult because you have to keep it extremely tight and don't let it slip around. when you make it to the mouth, tie a knot at that point and bring the excess to the belt loop. tie the best knot you can to secure it there. it can still slip off at the end which will destroy the whole thing, much like pulling a thread from a sweater. i used a pair of color matching zip ties to secure it further. one on each side of the twists on the back of the sheath.
it's a chore and if it came apart (which it probably won't) i wouldn't do it again. your time is better invested studying your school books. sorry, but it's true.
