All the 1911's are Colt's, except the Para-Ordnance. If I get a Springfield, it'll be the two tone XD. Sadly, it's not available in California yet. or so they tell me and the CA website doesn't list them either.

Sorry Andy, the pics are kinda big. I did optimize them for web viewing though. That should help a little.

ive found they feel great in your hand. however, for carry it seems to "stick" too much to my clothes

  YMMV

Sorry Andy, the pics are kinda big. I did optimize them for web viewing though. That should help a little. Thanks for thinking of me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> They weren’t too bad loading. Nice guns and pics. I’m surprised though that you don’t have any high end custom ones.

I have the Colts more for investment than anything. I can't see putting $$$$ into them. I prefer the Glocks to the Colts. I know, I know heresy I know.

Some 1911's can be temperental and quite expensive to "get running". I have been lucky I guess with my 1911's, but I have not had to put a single cent in to my Glocks, they work right out of the box, no questions asked. They are both great tools.

I am not a big fan of the .45 round ,big slow and outdated but I love how the Classic 7 round Colt fits in my little hand. That single stack is a true classic.

The funny thing is, I'm a .40 S&W kinda guy. I was pretty surprised I had so many .45's. I have 2 Glock .40's and a Firestar .40 that get all the work. The rest live in the safe. I actually forgot I had a Sig 9mm in two tone and forgot to photograph it. It's the only 9mm I have. ![[Linked Image from ramanon.com]](http://ramanon.com/forum/images/smilies/shrug.gif)
