I would also like to see Dan release that 9-11 tanto blade for the Yard. I saw one at Blade, and it is WICKED!

Is it the awesome blade we were all waiting for? I would still like to see a traditional-shaped Bowie blade. Busse was close with the Battle Pappy and Swamp Rat had the M-9. I have both of those models. +1 for a SYKCO Bowie!!! That would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!

There was talk of a "showdown" between those two knives over at the B/F site.

They have not had the Yard knife to do the test with. We are ALL waiting for them to be shipped out.

I figured that second thing I guess they will be sold out the time they ship, right? Well if the ASH-1 has the same dimensions besides the handle one could compare that one to the ESEE5?

Not sure why there is all the talk about comparing the esse5 to the Trash1. They don't compare well at all. The Trash1's blade is over an inch longer and 1/4" wider. The Trash one has a high saber grind, while the esee 5's first bevel is about half way down the blade. Other then the 1/4 thick spine and 1095 steel, I dont see many similarities.

I think it is all about Busse 1095 vs Esee 1095?

I ordered the TRASH 1, even though I probably have to add danish tax to the price.. About 25 % But I'm sure it will be worth it! it's going to be my first Scrapyard (or any Busse Knife Gruop). But I'm sure it's not the last
