I think its funny that they use this as an excuse to prepare. But i like it. I do find it interesting that what the government once tried to claim was ignorance and fear it its now pushing at every turn.
I have always remained prepared for natural disasters. But I do wonder why the sudden push for emergency preparedness.

Well, keeping people in fear is a good way to control a population.. At least if you want to take a more sinister and paranoid viewpoint. But regardless of the level of paranoia it has worked in the past. Maybe something to take over from "the red scare" of the 50s and 60s? Whatever it takes. The more people that are prepared for a natural disaster or emergency the better. Less people to worry about.

MB, I agree about being prepped. Things like this make me think Orson Wells and Yellow Journalism mixed together.....like you said, whatever it takes to make people more aware.

Well, we all need to proficient on the way we dispatch the zombies. Be it guns and ammo, blades, axes, or even arrows we need to practice. Where is the anti-zombie training camp going to be this year? I need to be in attendance. You know with the foot healing and all, running is not an option so I need practice! Maybe we can invite the Ninja dojo to show us how to throw stars and sticks. What do you guys think?
