Our county is usually slow after Midnight/1am. We are mostly rural and our largest city has just under 8K population.

After midnight, it's all mine. 4 phone lines, 911 (transfer from our actual E911 center), front door walkins, 4 radio nets and up to 6 road officers. It do get busy at times for one person. Oh and I have to run criminal histories as well AND QC warrants!

Yeah and NOW we have had a Ahem, GUEST of a mental facility attack a worker badly enough to call for an ambulance, then the GUEST took off walking in the rain.

Well the guy is known as being violent. AFTER he escaped, er ah I mean Walked off  ANOTHER worker went outside and started searching for him. I'm sorry, but IF one of them assaulted someone and the cops were coming, I would be staying out of the rain!
