Just found a picture of the Argonne Assault in the Feb 2016 issue of Blade magazine on pate 38 in an article titled "Coats of many Colors". It's an article about blade coatings.

Hi Tom. Sorry for the slow response but I had to do the news release and am responding to an email from Architect.

Tell Gary I said "hi", and he should visit us from time to time.

The General had blood drawn, and a follow up Doctor's visit is next week to go over the results. Just routine.

Glad and Hopefully nothing bad pops up.
Gary has started working for a different company and has started a completely new division. They have moved back to the city, unfortunately he said he couldn't keep working 16 hours plus a day at his regular job and the "Homestead". It's breaking their hearts to have to move, but you do what you gotta do to survive.

I spent a nice afternoon comparing two blades and spent over three hours chopping branches from an oak tree. One knife was 9" long and 3/16" thick and the other one was a Busse HOGFSH at about 8.5" long and 5/16" thick. The HOGFSH was the winner! It went through everything much better than the lighter, thinner knife. For the work I did today, the thicker, heavier knife suited me fine.

Thicker, heavier, is almost always gonna chop better because it will "Hit", bite harder because of the weight. BUT...
I carry a firearm sometimes 16 hours a day and even a few ounces can make a BIG difference in comfort. THAT'S why I usually will pick the lighter item, Knife, Gun, over the heavier one.
