Cool design for sure..just struggling with the edge. Came pretty dull and I haven't got it sharp as I want.

Thanks for the picture. I've never seen a Bowie Hinderer.

The Emerson is very nice.

On my outdoor present was a membership in a resort company from my parents. It looks pretty kick butt.

I have

1. Emerson Combat Karambit
2. Emerson Spec War
3. Emerson CQC7 spearpoint
4. Emerson Fixed Karambit.

I also have

1. CRK Small Sebenza
2. CRK Umnumzaan.

I like the Emersons for their relative light weight and the "EVIL" I WILL have your lunch look. Sometimes looks can be a deterrent, a good thing.

The CRK blades are FANTASTIC ROCK SOLID BLADES. Specially the Umnumzaan. It is all Titanium and S35VN steel. Takes an edge and holds it pretty well.

Unless you want to take the chance of loosing a 4-500 dollar knife (either one of the CRK Blades), go with the Emerson. Actually I would rather carry one of my Emersons on an EDC basis, due to weight and looks. They are not as finely finished as the CRK Blades, but they are using Utility type (well some of them) knives. Now for an edc pocket kniFe, in my humble opinion you can't beat the Small Sebenza. Mine has the Micarta inlays and is a pure joy to carry and use.
