You bet! They financed all my Rats! Buying undervalued items and reselling them on eBay. I make a couple thousand a year off Goodwill. (my only income source)


I think my best knife find at a Goodwill was a butcher block set of Case XX kitchen knives, with a ceramic rod sharpener for $5! I also have a couple other kitchen block sets of Chicago Cutlery knives that I got for $5 each too. I’ve also bought several loose Case XX kitchen knives for $.30-$.75 each. Sometimes I hit like 7 Goodwills in a day, but usually 3-4. I usually go to Goodwills 2-3 times a week. It's my favorite store. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I once found a "Soul to Squeeze" single by Red Hot Chilli Peppers at Goodwill. The best album for .50 cents I ever picked up!

Where I live is so far from civilization you see stuff that would be in a museum
either at the goodwill or still being used. I see 40's ford pickups that would be restored streetrods anywhere else hauling hay and water. My friend bought 2 nice little houses about a half hour from town for 9000$ canadian. We even have lots of rusty old muscle cars. I have a 65 Ford custom 500(bare bones galaxy) rusting in my front yard. Even the radio station thinks it is the 1980's.
