Only thing I have coming is the Lean Chophouse. I am really looking forward to it. I WISH I could have gotten the Boom Parang though, man that thing will be a fantastic chopper!

I have a 12" machete coming from...of all places...Kennesaw Cutlery. It's called the Mah-Chete from CRKT. Like a parang, but a nice point on the end.

I have both the large and small BG models and for the money they aren't all that bad. Handles could stand to be thicker, but for $29.00 what do you expect.

It's still tough to beat a Tramontina machete. And they are pretty cheap as well.

I've never found myself needing a full machete yet. I've only cut through a couple brier thickets and they were pretty small.

I see the CRKT used mainly around the garden and along the fence line.

Yeah they would be good in areas like that, specially where you can't put down week killer.

We're already looking forward to our garden this year; tomorrow we will be looking through seed catalogs. We are still eating sweet potatoes from this past year, and they are GREAT!

I'm having to watch what I eat VERY carefully since my blood sugar went nuts.

I go for my yearly physical next month; don't expect much other than concern for my knees.

My knees are one of the things the VA officer put on my form. I was medically disqualified from my first AF Job because of trauma to my knees.
