Ok guys...this is a sheath I just got done with...Nothing fancy or anything just meat and potatoes kydex work

The kicker is the IWB clip...Roo asked me about an easy on and easy off sheath and I figured why not give a clip a try?? looked in the bin and came out with one of those IWB clips I got in trade a couple months ago

Wears good and feels "OK" iwb...The scrapper 6 is a little large for IWB duty but the design would be the same for the scrapper 4

let me know what ya think!!!

The in the waistband clips ere not so great for those of us with manly(ie fat)
proportions. It does look at bit big with that scrapper 6 but I bet it would suit a 4 pretty good. I prefer a teclock myself just because it opens up more options
but if you carry IWB anyway there is alot to be said for simplicity.

Nice work! That’s a good lookin’ sheath. Your title kind of confused me though. When I clicked it, I thought it would be a leather one made out of Kangaroo. I hear it’s strong stuff.

I’ve seen a lot of molded kydex that they didn’t form around the knife very well where you could see the knife outline, but yours looks really good. I’ve never owned a kydex belt sheath, and I think they look nice, except, it always looks to me like they’re a whole lot wider than a comparable leather sheath, because of the extra width needed for the round rivet hole things. (I dunno what they’re called) I know you have to make it that wide for them to fit and hold it together, but it just looks kinda weird to me because it makes the sheath like twice as wide as the blade.

Hey, you have the same cell phone case that I do. Mine is the medium size for my LG CU500. I got mine at Walmart.

I still need to eventually buy or (figure out how to) make a kydex neck sheath for my Shaker so I can carry it when I’m wearing my PJs that don’t have pockets.

That is a great knife outline in that sheath. You can make kydex sheaths wraparounds then you need half the space for rivets but it is more complicated to make and I don't think it would fit as nice as that.I wonder if that glue you use for PVC pipe would be strong enough to hold a sheath without rivets?

nice work. how about a skeletonized kydex sheath for your old bud m22's scrap yard bowie?

i have a challenge for you:
a 10" neck knife sheath that hangs on a pivot from the center of balance so i can spin my scrap bowie like a chrome rim on some rapper's denali.

once again, good work.

Great looking sheathes- I think a wrap-over would suit the S4's proportions better.

Thanks guys!!!!!

Roo skin?? lol yea that is some VERY tuff stuff!! I at one time had a supplier but he has since gone out of business...Rooskin is used in Falconry ALOT

Unsub...yea they can be a bit tight for plus sized dudes...Please bear in mind that I am only 5'8" and around 185lbs...The taller you are it seems the better off ya are

Andy...yea they are a little wider...That one is wider than it needs to be because I missed my drill line and had to line it up from there...Could be around 1/8" narrower if I hadnt missed it...yea I bought that case and havent gotten around to making a leather one!! If ya need any help with the shaker sheath let me know...I made the necker for my bird that is pictured and if I can do it anyone can!!!

Unsub...Thanks..not bad for a homemade press huh?? lol...Never tried the glue

Magnum...Yea I plan on offering one for the Bowie...I have to borrow one though , as I am very poor!! A dub sheath?? hmm maybe once I get some breathing room I can look into that!!!

CZ75...Thanks..cant tell ya the price on a public board you will have to PM me for the price...but I will trade a PS2 for one!!!

TKC...That is the "other" model I am going to make for the scrapper 4..Either a folded or pancake...pancake will cost hundreds more though

Paul...it all depends on how ya want it...The pancake gives ya a few more attachment points for a PSK...

OHH yea...I am working on one with a firesteel loop as well!!!!

Again thanks guys!!!

Thanks CZ!!

yea I like the idea...Bummer is I only have the small Swiss Firesteel NOT the large one that people seem to prefer!!

I have Firesteel envy!!
