Haha, Yeah right. The only time I'm a high roller is when I fall down at the top of a hill!

Which folder did you get? I got quite a few Kershaw's, they are great blades for the money.

Opened up this beef with ease...

This mini is everything I need in an EDC...cuts well, tough, feels great in hand. Never had a tanto tip, but it's handy and cuts like a demon!

Got a little package in the mail Thursday afternoon and thought I might share it's contents with Y'all. Now mind you these are the Manufacturers Pictures from their website.
First up her alluring backside
[Linked Image from farm2.staticflickr.com]

And full frontal nudity
[Linked Image from farm2.staticflickr.com]

Here's her Measurements
Specifications:
Overall: 6.125"
Blade Length: 2.50"
Blade Thickness: .12"
Blade Material: CPM-S35VN
Blade Finish: Satin
Blade Type: Plain Edge
Blade Style: Drop Point
Handle Length: 3.625"
Handle Material: Green Textured G-10
Open: Thumb Stud - ambidextrous
Lock Mechanism: Linerlock
Pocket Clip: Titanium Tip up
Weight: 2.9 oz.

OK, now for MY observations

She is an almost EXACT "Minime" of the full size GTI Folder also designed by Justin Gingrich of Gingrich Tactical Innovations (GTI), missing only one barrel spacer AND it also has the bronze phosphor bushings!

Using my HIGHLY accurate plastic DARE ruler, I get the following measurements.
The Blade is indeed 2.5 inches long from tip to handle. The blade height is 1 inch. Blade thickness is right at 1/8in. With the handle coming in at 3 9/16. The handle thickness comes in right at 1/2 inch and the pocket clip adds about another 1/4 inch. The Pocket clip comes set up for tip up carry (right side only) but can be changed to tip down.

The Titanium liner lock engages for about half it's thickness thereby allowing for a LOT of self adjustment, and when the blade does lock open there isn't any movement up and down or laterally.

The blade is of course once again Quite hollow ground (but not so as to be too thin).

For ME it is only a three finger handle, but a very secure one. When you clamp down on this blade you just know it isn't going to slip on you. I had thought about moving the clip to the tip down carry position but after handling it I think I will just leave it alone.

As you have probably gathered by now, I am Quite taken with this blade and it will now (even thought it is actually shorter than I like for a regular edc) become my edc. And I will still feel able to handle anything that will normally come my way. IF the GTI can't handle it I am sure my Karambit can! wink

IF you are restricted to being able to only carry a short bladed folder, I am sure this little thing will see you through. I feel that for the money it is well worth the investment.

Just for reference here are the specs on the full size (both green handled, my favorite).

Fullsize GTI = 1 7/16 inch blade height!
Here's her measurements
Overall Length:8.50"
Blade Length:3.50"
Cutting Edge:3.25"
Blade Thickness:0.15"
Blade Material:CPM-S35VN
Blade Style:Drop Point
Blade Grind:Hollow
Finish:Satin
Edge Type:Plain
Handle Length:5.00"
Handle Thickness:0.60"
Handle Material:G-10
Color:Green
Frame/Liner:6AL4V
Weight:7.00 oz.
User:Right Hand
Pocket Clip:Tip-Up, Tip-Down
Knife Type:Manual
Opener:Thumb Stud
Lock Type:Liner Lock
Brand:Kizer
Model:Liner Lock
Model Number:Ki4416A2

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the "Observation". Oh and DO NOT let the "Made in China" mark turn you off. These are quality blades!

Just picked this up in a give away on BF.
Didn't think I would like it as much as I do. I had a sabre ground partially serrated delica before, but this thing is a huge improvement.
Really great ergos and its my first with a laminated steel.
