I've put my bid in on a Maxpedition Malaga (And Maxped's CCW holster for a new edc and or POSSIBLE GHB (we will see what I can get in it). Now all I need to figure out is what handgun to keep in it. I am seriously thinking about my Glock 17 with one spare mag.

Randy,Remember your GHB might be all you end up owning if there isn't a H to G to. As such, I think you'd be hard pressed to select a better gun than your G17. I do recommend SUBSTANTIALLY more ammo than 34rds.

I keep a 16oz Nalgene bottle filled to the top with 9mm in my GHB.
I'll have to count, but I think it holds about 200rds. That coupled with (4) loaded mags....

Your GHB is a reverse BOB. Smaller, lighter and less capability but same purpose. I think the ability to fight is greater in a GH scenario than in a BO.

GH will be a highly populated affair (the sheeple will not have died off yet). BO is likely to be required after the initial die off...less people = less boolits

GH could involve traffic problems, panicking people, provocations, etc.
BO would be a low key, creeping in the bush operation.

YUP, good points Gary. I would have a larger bag available but would only carry the smaller one out of the Jeep.
