Don't have one of those. Should it be a REQUIRED item? A greasy squirrel spot or plates? Plates - yes. Dead squirrel - if you're into that sort of thing.

Plates and plate carriers are HEAVY. I feel they should be the VERY LAST thing you buy. After you buy them it'll take a lot of work to get use to wearing them (changes your rifle shoulder weld, are hard to don / dof, constrict your breathing, limit your mobility, etc).

If you're not going to train with them on - don't buy plates.
I'm guilty of just wearing my battle belt 99% of the time. If you have to wear a ruck with a plate carrier...you had better be fit!

$1 plastic waterproof match case from China-Mart. I gave all of mine away, and have a test I want to conduct. This is what I was talking about (meaning should these be a required item) Don't know what I did wrong, it should have done the quick quote thing.

I may have bought a Colt SOPMOD BLOCK 3 clone.
I make anti-DI jokes a lot, but I'm still a HUGE fan of BCM and Colt DI carbines. Randy's Carbine is an example of a gun I wouldn't hesitate to run out the door with.
