If I'm honest, I have all the hunting blades I need…at least I do now. But, like I said, the kids all need an RMD. It is, IMO, the best (reasonably) affordable blade money can buy. I got the oldest a chopper from Condor. Some of their blades are actually really nice AND super affordable…if you can find them on sale.
I've got a DF, SOD, MOAD, and Chopweiller to my name for bigger blades. One to will to each kid someday. Hopefully, the blades will mean as much to them as they have to me.
There will now be 3 INFI blades in the home--2 INFImandus and a Game Warden gifted to my oldest by a generous Dog. My oldest cleaned and butchered his first deer with that blade. He doesn't know it's his yet. I'll wait until he's settled down--out of college, done with a mission, done with his enlisted life (if he continues forward with his plans to join up with the Navy--no jokes from you Jarheads). Less chance of it getting lost.
When I've hung up my hunting pack for the last time, I'll give up my INFI RMDs too. Guess I still have one more piece of INFI to buy

Had it until my War Dog gave up its life in the hunt…back when INFI wasn't as pricey as unobtainium...
Two RMDs, one piece of INFI, and 3 choppers to go. 9 years takes a toll. I feel like I've aged 30 since I started here. Still love fine steel, but using it hard leaves my hands swollen and hurting for days. Heck, butchering a deer takes more of a toll than I care to admit.
