Can the clip be moved to the other side so that the blade is against the back of your pocket, not the front? That is how I carry all my knives. Blade to the rear. That is unless I am carrying in my left pocket. My little Gingrich GTI folder has got me about 3 times. And yeah, I DO NOT carry it in my left pocket any more.

It is absolutely a tank of a knife! I love everything about it…except for the wave…and the tip-up design…

I agree, the wave feature to me is out of place on anything but a defensive blade. Being able to have it open as it leaves your pocket is quite an advantage and DOES cause folks to get all white eyed!

Hmm…it can be moved to the other side. That probably would help... But I already made the offer and I won't back out if you want it I have a number of folders…probably too many. It's been literally more than 3 years since I carried that blade, and at least 1 or 2 since I thought of it. Might free me up to try a different design sometime

I've never found the assisted open or even flippers to be slow to deploy. Never was able to get the wave to work when I wanted it to…only when I wasn't expecting it. Kinda like the Great Pumpkin....

Like you, I used to hate a tip up carry. But as I have acquired more knives that carry this way I have actually gotten to where I now like them quite a lot. Maybe it's just because I (my hand) has become accustomed to them, but I now prefer a tip up carry on a blade I carry for possible self Defense.

Right now I carry two knives. The PM2 is ONLY for a last ditch, only thing available, can't run away means of SD. The other, the para 3 is my actual edc blade that gets used for what ever a knife gets used for. I am a believer in that a knife carried for protection should ONLY be used for that purpose ONLY. You do not cut ANYTHING with it unless it's the bad guy. AND you from time to time strop it a few times just to make sure it is still in "Razor sharp" condition.

That's a good philosophy Randy, kinda like not using your 1911 as an anchor or a hammer when you aren't using it to defend yourself

I always find myself using any knife in my pocket at least 3-20 times a day. I have my primary blade and my Leatherman most days…and usually 1-3 others as pocket space allows and I forget I already have something in my pocket

It's late and I have been up since 0730 yesterday morning. My eyes are playing tricks on my and my brain ain't working at it's best. I mean it never does, but it's even worse now.
