For the prices they charge now, it better stay the night and make you breakfast in the morning too! With all the below and whistles, that sucker runs close to some decent pistols, or enough to build a decent upper (well, decent by my standards, anyway)

Yeah I've noticed that the prices have gone up a little. That's why I plan on keeping mine oiled up and in good shape. If I ever do need to constantly use a cane I will alternate between that one and a "regular" one made of hickory as well, but not any where as robust as the Triple grip. But I DO like it better, maybe it's the color (kinda subdued red).

As the old saying goes ... "beats a sharp stick in the eye". Based upon that ... hide a sharpened end under one of those rubber "caps" on the end of your cane. Maybe stick a nickel or quarter in the rubber "cup" to keep the sharp end from poking through.
When Joe Gangbanger shows up and wants to take your Fruit Roll Up money .. use your ninja reflexes to pull the rubber cap off revealing the Devil's Dart and force Joe to run to the cork store. You know, to plug all of his new holes.

I THINK you can buy a sharpened steel spike for them, maybe. But if you look closely that birds beak end on the crook is a pretty nasty piece of work itself.

I have practiced some blocks and locks (I know that a video isn't the same as actual one on one practice, but it's better than nothing) and just all out hay makers with mine and it will make any bad guys it connects with have second thoughts.
