What was the edge like on ya'lls Scrapper? Mine is not impressive, will barely cut paper. I might have got a dud though.

the LE is not sterile -- and they sheath has velcro instead of snap retainer and the liner is clear plastic instead of black (i cheated -- i had one already -- but hey, that's why we have two hands, right?) Klink - you're right, i'm grinning like an idiot...

There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.

also, some completely trivial details for nerds like me who pay attention to useless minutia: The new one has a slightly larger choil than the one bought at Blade, the new blade is just a hair narrower, has a thicker edge, and feels just slightly heavier (might be a nanometer thicker). wow, what beautiful knives... I just realized, i don't know of any other production knife in S7 steel... I wonder if this is the first?

What was the edge like on ya'lls Scrapper? Mine is not impressive, will barely cut paper. I might have got a dud though. The first one i got online from some lucky bastid who actually got to go to the Blade show cut paper right out of the box. the new one won't, and is noticably thicker, more of a chopping edge. I was able to get the first one sharp enough to pop hairs, but the new one, i think is just to thick to get that sharp without reprofiling it -- also do you have the convex or the zero edge? That might make a difference... Does anyone have both?

My LE just arrived moments ago.
First impression is that it sure is pretty. The bare steel really looks nice. Not a mark on it, except for the logo. The edge is good. It will slice paper easily. The Res-C handle feels great of course and the knife seems very well balanced.
It is almost a shame that I do not intend to use it. This one is going to be my first safe queen. Once the Ren-Wax dries she will be put away for a long sleep.
After the credit card gets paid off I will order one of the "Standard" Scrapper 6's to use and abuse.

Rich -- sounds like you got a peach. wanna trade it for a less sharp one so i can beat the tar out of it? lol. it's probably a good thing that mine had a thicker edge...
