How did you get that when there has been no postal service? Lucky guy.

YEA, What did you give the post master for Christmas to get your knife when the post office was closed

Hot Dog !!! I just returned from the Post Office, where my SS4 was waiting! It's BEAUTIFUL !!! This is my new favorite small knife, beating out my InfiCoot. It feels great in the hand - the Mudder handle is terrific!

Andy - The SS4 fits just beautifully in the Coot' sheath ! In fact, if that old sheath is taking up too much room, you can send it to me - I will put it to good use!

Dan and Patti - EXCELLENT JOB !!! Tom

Thanks for the kind words... its one sweet knife

Enjoy

Dan

Got my Scrapper 4 today.

All I can say is "WOW."

What a tremendous knife. What a tremendous value.

As soon as I picked it up, it became my favorite small knife.

It felt like my birthday! This is a really well made knife. It fills my hand, has good balance, the handle material is not at all like micarta! I could see this being the hunting knife I have been looking for. I don't see this handle getting slippery with blood when dressing out a moose or caribou!

The postman was giddy when he saw it!

I did figure out something from one of the other topics: Why did this knife get released before the Bowie? The answer is in the polling. There was approximately a 2 to 1 margin for a knife like the Scrapper 4. This one makes much more sense for carry, everyday chores, defense, hunting.

The Bowie should be next, and I will warn the rest of you to get in line you pound hounds and don't miss the boat like I did on the Scrapper 6.

Oh, don’t you worry. My sheath won’t be going to waste. I have another forum member that picked up an extra S4 for me. I just need to sell some more stuff on eBay to make some $ to get it. I can’t wait, it looks great, and will be my first SY knife.

Yep, that's one thing I forgot to mention, Andy. The SS4 fits great in my original Howler sheath, and I think that's the same one that came with the Coot, too.

Well, they’re similar, but slightly different. The Coot sheath is narrower. Since I had that extra Coot sheath, I tried seeing if my HR LM would fit in it, and it didn’t. It fits great in the HR sheath though. I’m gonna have to make another duct tape sheath for my extra HR for whichever one isn’t being used in the leather sheath at the time.
