We hit 97 degrees today as well, but no rain. Today really kicked my butt, even with taking breaks and drinking Gatorade and water. If this heat keeps up I might have to spread the mowing over two days.

Yeah it’s was in the 90s with heat index in Ohio when I mowed this AM. Good training for my 5k & 10k run and gun match against/with the guys from 5th SF group in September.

We had a big storm come through here the other day. A house in my town was hit by lightning, caught fire and suffered major damage. What I don’t understand is that the house was surrounded by trees that are taller than the house. I thought that lightning hit the tallest part in the area.

Someone didn't tell the lightning.  Our house sits tall in the middle of what once was a hay field.

About 45 minutes ago someone saw and took a pic of a tornado about 3-4 miles east of town.
