Thanks all. Posting these picks and the fixed blades is making me realize...I need to do a sell off...I've gone crazy buying this year.

Production folders can easily be replaced if you regretted selling one. The only knife I regretted selling was a Scrapyard Yardhook. I wish Scrapyard would do a run of those but in tan.

You are correct BC, but I was talking about blades that would not be easily replaced, if at all. As a perfect example, the Highly Coveted and Impossible to find SS4. Or on the larger side, the S6 (of which I WAS finally able to obtain a specimen of). I have a Wardog HACK that I would gladly give up for an SS4 if anyone was so foolish as to want to unload theirs, and the HACK might well be a batter blade for actual real world use, but those who have an SS4 I am sure will be holding onto theirs. I know I would.

Yes those Scrapyards are pretty rare and if you sell one you will probably never get another one since Scrapyard doesnt seem like its in the knife make business anymore.
Dan did say he was going to make that top 4 or 5 knifes or whatever that poll he put out in the spring. Maybe we will eventually see Dan go through with that someday.

It would be nice, and could happen. I just wish that the "Group" would come out with another folder somewhat along the lines of the Rat Trap. With a contoured handle that felt "right" in the regular or the inverted grip and a blade length of between 3.5 and 3.75 inches long and with at least some variance of the Spydie hole so there would be nothing on the blade to stop it penetrating all the way to the handle. It should be AT LEAST an eighth of an inch thick and probably shaped like the Muppy blade, a spearpoint but not exactly. Or probably more accurately a sharp pointed spearpoint for strength. I for one would be more than willing to give the prototypes a tryout, for the good of all the dogs. We Mods are here for YOU you know.

Yes, I'd love to see another folder like the Rat Trap. I forgot who made them for Busse, but it looks like a decent folder.
Is the Muppy and Mud Puppy? I do like the shape of the Mud Puppy blade, it would make a nice folder blade.

Muppy = Mud Puppy. And Yeah I think that would make a really nice blade for a folder! PLUS the length is already there. Just drill a hole in it for a pivot pin, cut a hole for opening and ya got a folder!! Dan you listening???

I agree on the Mud Puppy knife profile being a nice folder blade profile.
I wish Dan was listening, but I havn't seen him on here in 3 or 4 months so I doubt he is.
I would love to see another folder like the Rat Trap come about. I'm sure they would sell a ton of them again. I think they came out in 2004 and they were made by Blade-Tech? They originally sold for $130 back in 2004.
