I joined Spyderco’s OPFOCUS program last year and most of the prices are a better deal than I could find online.

NOT TRUE! Expensive folders aren't "Your thing" so what. I wouldn't pay $150 for a pair of boots. That doesn't make me Unwanted anywhere that I know of, just that I'm not into that stuff. Heck If I have to pay 30 bucks for a set of jeans I don't buy them!

I'm not cheap, just frugal. grin

Thanks.

Its funny you mentioned trousers as I was thinking about the cost of them while standing in line at the Post Office today. I paid $17 for my last pair of fleece lined trousers, which I'm wearing today, and it kind of made me sick to have spent so much.

It is a restricted program, but you will qualify. Just read what I linked to above and set yourself up.

Yep, I joined earlier in the year too and have bought a couple through it and have my eye on a couple more. Like Ray said, the prices are real solid.

Should I be calling you Sir? I retired as an E6. Purposely didn't pass my testing for Master Sgt cause I wasn't going to extend for another 2 years, go to their 3 or 4 month school AND have to wait over 6 months to put on one more stripe. It was getting to political for me and I was just tired of playing their games.

You can call me sir as a sign of respect for my advanced age but I was just a grunt in the Army.

I would honestly never call you anything disrespectful intentionally. I mess with Tom and call him an EX Marine, but he knows It is only in jest. And I DO respect your age. That is one thing that the Japanese have over us is that they revere their elderly folks (not about the new breed of kids they got coming up, but hey who knows)

Well we gotta get up at 0630 in the morning to take our little Bella to have her teeth cleaned.

Have a good night. Peace and rest to you and all those you care for.

Well, you have been disrespectful to me intentionally by calling me a yankee when you know that my father was from Alabama and I was almost born in North Carolina. I also have a ton of ancestors from NC and other parts of the south. At least, I have NEVER been disrespectful to you. Oh, wait . Maybe a couple times. Errr, maybe more than a couple. Never mind. I just noticed that we have been chatting in A folder thread. Maybe we should move the discussion of your shortcomings to another thread.

Hey, my sister was born in Alabama ... still lives in Alabama ... sounds like a southern belle ... and refuses to step foot outside of Alabama ... does that make me a Half Southerner?

Ray, I apologize, I had forgotten your ancestry (at my age forgetting is an every day occurrence).

Tom, my preference, sometimes is for a smaller folder, BUT I have a large one I carry all the time! grin

Gary, I guess kinda, sorta. Besides it's not like you live in the FAR North of the state, right?
