SBG has some good info. I have been following it for over 10 years. Cheness Is a decent entry level sword maker if you want a good basic sword. BTW, Randy, one of my cheap, junk swords is a WW2 shin gunto.

Haha, just couldn't resist a chance to mess with you Ray. I think we both have fun. I have a real WWII "Returning GI" Wakizashi that Patty bought me probably 20 years ago. Yeah it cost $125.00 but I was VERY proud to have it. BUT I have been unable to get anyone to interpret the Kanji on the tang for me. Oh and Congrats on your Gunto. I have wanted a set of "Japanese" swords for as long as I can remember.
