The 19 or 17?

John Lovell from Warrior Poet Society just came out with the dressed up 19 with Sportsmansguide that looks appealing.

Nice to see the Yard up!

Here's an internet picture ...

It is scheduled for delivery next week. I'll try to get pictures up after I get it back from the range.

I've watched quite a few videos from the Warrior Poet Society fellow. I generally like them, but there is something about him that is a little off. Can't put my finger on it.

Duh..I'm an idiot. Had Glock on the brain for some reason. Couple of my LGS have nice collections of WC's..I love oogling them. Let us know how it shoots!

Maybe his dad jokes? Nice guy vibe? I thought the same about him but he's grown on me a bunch. Sometimes he seems way too nice for a Battalion guy...but he can turn the switch on for sure...

Rich,
Its on the truck for delivery tomorrow! I'm heading straight to the range with it. I have 150rds of FMJ and 20rds of HP (and grease for the rails) already loaded into my range bag.

At first I wondered if the nice guy deal was an act because at times his arrogant side bleeds through. However, the more I watch him the more I think what I perceived as "arrogance" is more "stage insecurity". He seems more "natural" or perhaps "authentic" in his newer videos.

That is going to be a nice Tuesday- hope you post how it goes!

I remain totally happy with my DW Valor blem, my only 1911...it runs like a champ, is super accurate and is a beautiful weapon. I may try it at a USPSA match this year for the hell of it.

I enjoy him now and would take a class with him if I had the opportunity.

I will post results. I keep watching the tracking and waiting for my FFL friend to text saying its there.

150 + 20 isn't a lot but I'm going to be short on time now that USPS is taking forever to deliver. I had wanted to shoot a couple of guns on this trip, but I'm basically stuck with just testing the WC now.

Stay tuned.

It seems USPS is running behind today (they usually deliver to my FFL around 11am-noon). I guess they're over loaded due to the volume from yesterday (holiday / no delivery).

Received, ranged, cleaned and holstered.

In a word ... glorious.

More to follow tomorrow. I've been up since 5:45am and haven't eaten today.

I tried, repeatedly, to post a review and pics in a new thread. WEBSITE FAIL.

Not worth my time here. Too many sites actually work.

Goodbye Yard.

Tom,
We need to find another place to hang out. They aren't going to fix this.
