Gary, Southern born blood relations should qualify you. And you could qualify as a Southern sympathizer at the very least.

I lived in Alabama for a number of years.

Now I’m a tea and crumpets limey.

My father lived in Alabama for the last 30 years of his life. My sister was born there and has 8 children.

I guess I sort of qualify.

OK, you're in Gary. Now you gotta claim you're from SOUTHERN Great Britain.

I’ve been accused of having a “posh accent”. One should think one should speak to the best of one’s ability.

When one wishes to impress the masses one uses the proper Queens English. I ain't worried about impressin no body no more. To old for dat any more, besides Patty would kill me. Cause of that I don't go around bragging about the knives I carry, but if someone asks, then I impress them with my vastly superior knowledge of knife information and thoroughly bore them.

OK, so I SOMETIMES talk about knives to much. But it is only because of my Love for the blade.

I like my Spiderco knives, use them all the time. BUT for a SHTF situation and a knife needs to be brought into play I will pick my Emerson, right now the CQC15 full size. The Mini CQC15 is nice, but the larger one will Psychologically be more fear inspiring.

For a SHTF situation I want a larger fixed blade, not a folder. Of course, I have many of each already.

I agree with you on the fixed blade Tom, but I was talking about edc type situations. We're not all like Andy Wayne and can carry a Dog Father in our pocket.

You still remember that! Good, that means Alzheimers hasn't caught up to you!

My 6" bladed Cold Steel XL Voyager stays in my pocket always, but I still like to have a fixed blade on me. I have been switching between a 9-11 and a Last Rites; I carry them slung over my shoulder and hanging at my side via a cord through the sheath's belt loop.
