Wolf 308 can be found for about $300-350 per case. Most brass case is $500-600.
10x $200 = $2000 .... new rifle.

I will have to get some to try. I generally shop with SGAMMO and make a few BIG orders a year. This week though I’m ordering caliber exchange kits for the Dillon 650 I picked up. I need to start loading the specialty ammo for long range and heavy/hot loads for action targets.

I buy most of my amp from SGAMMO as well.
The last delivery my UPS guy threatened to call the B A T F because I bought 10k of 308.
I explained I shoot thousands each month, and between 10-20k a year. Then invited him to the range.
Hasn’t complained since.

2019 was a very high round count year. I was finalizing my evaluations and determining what designs to keep.
In 2019 I fired ...
22LR ... probably 10,000 380ACP ... 300 9MM ... over 9,000 40SW ... over 4,000 45 ACP ... over 6,000 223 Remington ... over 15,000 308 Winchester ... over 6,000 12 Gauge ... 100

A related oddity ....
When I want to sell a high round count gun I will not post it online because I want a person to be able to see the condition. Therefore, I put it on a FFL's table at the local gun show. You'd be surprised how many people will chose a gun that is listed as "5000 rounds fired" over the exact same gun listed as "Unfired" .... for a $100 savings.

Those round counts are probably low as I destroy range records after I sell a gun. (I keep track of every round fired from every gun I own).
I say this, because I know I fired 1500rds through one particular 9mm over the course of 3 days.
Now that I think about all of the guns I sold in 2019 ... I bet some of those round counts are half of the actual. I bought 20k of 223 Rem and don't have a single case left.

Idk why but I’m kinda bored with semi auto pistols right now. I find myself eyeing a GP100 for some reason.

The distributor exclusive with the walnut grip and inflated cylinder is awesome! Although I will probably pick up another rimfire first.

Alright got approval to go ahead with purchasing a new safe as we have outgrown our current storage needs. I’m looking at the Cabela’s 48 gun classic safe by liberty with the dial lock. Anyone have much experience with safe selection?
