I have enough parts to keep the five LMT and two DD guns running for the rest of my life. That's one of the perks of the CQB/MRP/MWS system ... two bolts and the barrel drops out. I have spare bolts, firing pins, trigger groups, barrels, springs, etc.
Five 556 and two 762 ARs is more than enough for us. I could get by with less, but I just really enjoy these guns so I'm keeping those pictured.
I've been doing well selling my Colts online. I need to focus on selling the BCMs, my other DD, and all of the PSA stuff I have now.

I'm also selling all of my non 1911 or Beretta 92 handguns. Same approach... I've found them to be the best for me (Beretta for high capacity 9mm and 1911 for 45ACP / EDC) so I just want to cash out of everything else.
Retirement is all I can think of.
How many guns does one person really need anyway.

My gun philosophy has developed to this summary ...
HAVE LESS HAVE THE BEST
RETIRE ENJOY LIFE
ETA: this is why I'm going to replace the Vortex when more of the ARs or the last MCX sells. I will probably end up with a Nightforce.

Gary, You said "How many guns does one person really need anyway". Well just ask Larry Potterfield.

WOW, those evil black guns (yeah the silver looking one too) are SWEET! I like those 308s as well. BUT if I had one it probably wouldn't get shot beyond sighting it in. I just don't do much shooting any more, just enough to "Qualify".
Yeah I know, I'm bad, but such is the reality of life.

I really enjoy my range time. I don’t go as much as I want. Shooting is just a hobby I’ve always enjoyed.

I WOULD like to shoot more. But the closest range around here is about 20 miles, down some secondary roads and then down some gravel roads. It's a MO Conservations Unmanned range.

The SA over runs were not the Mars lower but I don’t need the ambi controls anyways. The H&K 91, FAL, and arsenals all would have found a happy home with me lol. I just picked up a SAM7SF in November and I’m actually using it in 2 gun and 3 gun matches lol but I’d love to have a good FAL. I just hate feeding .308 semi auto guns because I shoot so much.

gun dog, Try Wolf steel case 308. I bet you’d be surprised.

Make sure it was made by Barnaul. Stay far away from Wolf boxed Tula manufactured
Wolf boxed Barnaul is quite good. Nothing like their 223 (which is actually fine for range use).

Years ago I calculated the polymer coated steel case over brass case savings and found that you can replace your rifle (with the savings) with every 10,000 rounds.
