Becoming a Glock fan at this late point...I still shoot my CZs a bit better but these 2 are sweet shooters and I like some of the available gear like safariland holsters with ALS and the QLS holster/belt system...

The Gen5 really refined some of the things I didn’t like about glocks.

You shoot Glock in competition GD? I've tried to go rent a 34 but have failed to find one so far...

Using my 75bd currently and it's a tack driver. I would like to try my 1911 .45 at some point and my P10c and 19x...just to see how I do with them.

I remember once, years (wow, decades) ago when I was an intern, there was a safe in a government building that everyone forgot the combo to and for which no one could find any master list. This was a safe designed to store highly classified documents, mind you.

I watched as a guy with a crow bar and a 5 lbs dead blow busted it open inside of 5 minutes.

While it gave me a new perspective on the phrase "safe cracking," it also made me feel a lot less secure about putting anything in a safe...

...though hopefully, I'd hear someone smashing their way into my safe and be able to do something about it before they finish...

An advanced alarm system, a la say, a 6 pound Yorkie will make SURE you hear someone BEFORE they even get to the safe! Trust me on this.

I once heard a guy say that a safe is just like locks. They are only to keep honest people honest.

I think our range opened up this Saturday. Unfortunately, it's going to rain inches this week. After I finish painting the upstairs, I've got several projects on the works:

1) Finish my 6.5CM build.

2) If I breakdown and spend the cash, I'll order another LaRue flat blade trigger so I can finish my .308 as well.

3) Change out the muzzle device on my 450 Bushmaster (adding a linear comp, since the spiral brake causes serious PAIN when out hunting).

4) Scope and bore sight my Grendels.

5) Clean out my garage so I can put in a reloading bench.

6) Get my muzzle device review ready for primetime... And figure out how and where to post this long sucker!

Seems like I don't have much reason to avoid all this any longer...
