Yeah, 20 years in the Air Force and 25 as a small town reserve cop and full time Sheriff's dispatcher. I've seen and heard a lot of things.
BUT this one takes the cake. About a month ago there was a Murder not 300 feet from out house. Two "Kids" broke into a house of an elderly man that had some major medical problems. They Beat and strangled him to death. I may have accidentally reported this message when I went to quote. This is why I hate that I am out if town so much

Yeah the caught them the next day or the one after. It happened about 0500-0530 and they had a suspect that same day and caught him by mid day the next day. Turns out he wasn't in on it, he just helped clean up. So all that he was charged with was trying to get rid of evidence. Funny how it leaves you once you don't need to remember the terms any more.

Cool. Speaking of the BRAIN dead, had to get a couple things a the store today. Went to a Walmart and Schnuchs grocery store in a town with almost 40K population. I have NEVER seen so many empty shelves. Meat, almost all gone. Bread and Toilet paper almost non existent. Milk, VERY low. People were going NUTS!
