So MB, I guess this is like a REAL Blue Flu. Sorry to hear about it hitting so close to you and the wife.

We stay at home, going out only for groceries. I hope that everyone stays safe and healthy.

Had the Neuro Surgeon appt today and the town of almost 40K had a VERY reduced traffic flow. I mean at one time on a fairly busy road there wasn't another car in sight for almost a minute. And I could see for about 5 blocks!

Oh the Doc said he would NOT recommend anything now with all this stuff going on. He then went on to say that they will have to replace one disc with a plastic spacer. And lower down where the bones are grinding together and the hole for the nerves are almost non existent, they would put in a Titanium spacer that is like a scissor jack, put it in and then expand it to the height they need and then put in the screws and rods to stabilize it. He said both surgeries would only need a cut about 3 inches long and are considered relatively non invasive. He then said that he would recommend that I hold of as long as I can handle the "Ache/pain" and that to just let them know when I want it done. I kinda like this Dr. He is the one that did the ruptured disc surgery on me back in April of '17.

It's good to have confidence in your doctor.

Thank you guys. He is the same one that did my surgery 3 years ago where he had to remove the ruptured pieces of the disc with a pair of tweezers. He said it was so old that the material had calcified and was acting like glass.

Well Randy, that was because YOU are so old!
