I would have been pretty happy to receive this as a gift.

I researched the snot out of it before I plunked down the cash for it.

I am hoping it holds up against real world use. I tend to practice with anything I carry so time will tell.

The size of this light (and battery type) makes it very appealing to me for civ CCW.

Durability probably isn't as paramount as a duty weapon (or night stand gun). As long as it'll last a couple of mags - it'll probably suffice for 85% of civilians.

SureFire typically makes a solid product (I own and have owned many thousands of dollars worth of their lights).

I'll be watching this thread. Please post feedback.

I spent 8 hours at the range today. I put a few rounds through this setup today using several different types of ammo.

It ran like a champ with Golden Sabre Hollow Points, Remington, and Speer FMJ all 124 grain.

I didn't have any malfunctions with the pistol. The battery compartment and the set screw for the light stayed nice and tight.

I was surprised that the lens on the light was carbon free after shooting. The lights sets nearly even with the barrel and the lens itself is slightly inset. I am impressed by the lack of carbon.

The pistols draws and presents just fine from the holster and I didn't notice the light at all when shooting. I didn't slow me down.

Bonus was shooting steel at 150, 200 and 300 yards with a pistol.

300 yards with a pistol? Now that's just showing off.

Did you have a 16" barrel on that pistol?

LOL, Nope a stock G-22. I couldn't do 300 standing but I managed to hit it braced at 300. 1 out of 5 rounds at 300 braced. I had to guestimate elevation. I managed to stay centered but kept hitting the base.

I did alot better braced on the 200 and 150 yard targets.

To be honest I was very surprised to have actually made any hits at all.

Trying new stuff and testing boundaries. I would never try those shots in the real world with a pistol.

LOL, I'm definitely not Elmer Keith. I don't think I'll be famous for trick shots with a pistol anytime soon. Your average Bullseye shooter is probably far more accurate than I am.

I was in an instructor development class yesterday. I got lumped into the "A" team group and they were trying to challenge us. Harder shots to help us with coaching.
