Sounds like a decent price for a "newbie", assuming he makes what you want.

Well today turned out to be a nice sunny, although slightly cool day. Got the glider swing Patty ordered put together and it's nice. I actually prefer gliders to a swing MOST of the time.

My Grandparents in Alabama had a glider on their front porch. It was my favorite place at their house. Except for the dinner table.

I hear that Ray. And sometimes I would rather just have the glider.

Well, both my Grandma and my mother were excellent cooks. When they got together to make supper it was fantastic.

I have been looking at bandoliers and chest rigs and what not for a couple weeks. I just wantes something I could toss over my shoulders and roll out in case something crazy ever happened. After a lot of searching I ended up with a couple BlackHawk vests and a gang of pouches for pretty much what the one vest sold for. This stuff is going to be way more tactical than I normally get into. I really just want to get stuff in one place and in a state where I can get certain items on me quickly and organized.
I'm also still looking to setup a pretty basic belt or bandolier rig. I'm thinking I need a way to quickly strap on a pistol, 2 mags, a folding knife, and a flashlight.

Just buy an appropriate holster and some pouches to go on a belt. Sportsmens' Guide and Cheaper Than Dirt are two possible suppliers, and don't forget to check Natchez Shooters Supply.

lazi, check with our "Resident Expert" Gary. He was selling off some of his gear and at least he could point you in the direction of what to get and what NOT to get.
