Good morning Ray and the rest of the Yard.
We have a real pretty day on tap, so I will be working on a few projects getting ready for our visitors in a few weeks. My daughter, SIL, and their three kids are coming for a two week visit, similar to what they did back in 2013. That's when we had our "Camp Hunger Games" fun, along with their first ever trip to an outdoor drive-in theater. I'm making a new target stand with PVC pipe (1 1/2") for the archery and rifle practice.

Boy Tom, hitting an Inch and a Half target at 100 yards can be pretty tough. I mean I have done it, but it isn't the easiest thing in the world, especially now with these tired old eyes.

The kids are teenagers now; 14, 17, and 19. They have pretty good vision.

Well folks, it's startin to get real for us Rednecks. Yup, Y'alls city folk ruckus done come down to the Redneck riveria. There was three shootings in a town of jest under 39,000 only 25 miles away day before yesterdie within 8 hours. I'll tell ya, I can't hardly wait until they get that thar personal force field thang pre-fected.

Yeah, and they got a pretty good Grandpa to teach them HOW to shoot.

I think I need to go to the doctor, I must be sick. I gave a compliment to a Marine!

Good evening Mr. Ray sir. Day is almost over and it's been a good day. Patty and I got out and worked in the yard for a while and My Fitbit informed me that I was Exercising so I don't need to hit the treadmill this day.

Got her iPad Pro up and running and man is it a BIG difference. Heck, I can see things on that screen without my glasses! Seriously, even though it cost quite a bit I am glad that I did it. I talk about being cheap, and I am, but because of that We can do things like this once in a while. We have money in the bank, we owe NO debt and only the normal household bills. Insurance, water, gas, electric you know things you have to have to live in the modern world as we know it.

Oh well, make some spend some. Tom, PLEASE don't stroke out on me for saying that.
