Good morning Yard. My brother and SIL will be taking me out for another barbecue dinner later today; probably brisket as I had ribs last time.

I don't know about retirement for everyone, like Tom ive been retired for years now and I still can't sleep in after 5.00am. 
I told my wife I wanted to be cremated. She made me an appointment for tomorrow afternoon.

Ian, sometimes we are just going to bed at 5 a.m. We enjoy sitting out on our deck in the cool evening air, talking, looking at the stars, or just laughing at our dogs.

None of the late nights for me, I'm in bed by eight PM and up at 5 am. My working days used to start at 3.30 am fill the truck with diesel at the servo and be gone by 4.30. 7.00am we'd be at a pie shop in a little town Called Merriwa and by 8.30 up in the bush on the mountains loading rock to be delivered to landscape nurseries. About a fourteen hour day, six days a week I never seem to be able to break my sleeping habits. but I had no trouble giving up the work. 
I told my wife I wanted to be cremated. She made me an appointment for tomorrow afternoon.

My sleep habits are all out of whack. I'm usually a night owl. I sleep from 2 am to 9am. Now I'm out by 11 pm and awake between 0530 and 0630am. I'm guessing it will be similar once I'm done with a timeclock.

Patty and I used to never go to bed (after I retired) before 1 or 2am, sometimes 3 or 4. Now that I am on the CPAP machine I am usually out by 1130 to 1230 am at the latest. BUT I am now starting to wake up about 0600 or 0630 unless the pup wakes me up earlier. Go figure.

Yeah MB, but you were on the "Front Lines" a lot longer than I was. Even though being a Dispatcher for 25 years and a Patrol Officer for only 3 I guess I did see my share of "Rowdiness" what with working the road and riding along with Deputies a LOT before Patty and I got together. It's time to let the youngsters take over the "Fun and Games". You've paid your dues, now it's time to enjoy the spa.
