Dispatch is a rough job. A least thats how I look at our dispatchers. It's non stop between Fire medical and Law. Good dispatchers are worth their weight in gold.

That's why Dispatchers are the "Thin Gold Line".

Well dogs, it's time for me to become The Man in the Plastic mask, AKA the dreaded CPAP. But I am kinda starting to get used to it and as I've said before I do sleep better with it than without it. Guess maybe they do know a little bit about some things.

Good morning Yard. The General will be home tonight so I have to get a few things done, starting with watering our plants and then mowing. Later I will go to town to pick up a few things including Subway sandwiches; we plan on dining while watching the season finale of "Alone" on the History channel.

Had my surgery yesterday. They found and fixed a bit more damage than they saw on the MRI. Now it's waiting game for the next 10 days or so.

Hope you bounce back fast MB! Nice they were able to get things fixed up so now you can heal instead of just wait.

Saw the Dr this morning for post OP. He seems pretty confident that it was a success. Although there was a whole bunch of damage. He doesn't think it's a career ender. Thats one of my fears. I don't want to be the guy with a trick knee in a young mans game.

Way to go MB. 10 days may not seem all that long, I mean at least it isn't a week and a half.

LOL, its the 4-6 months wait to be fit enough for duty thats going to be a bear. It would be nicer if I could do some of the things I need/want to get done to prepare to sell the house during my down time. But I'm catching up on the internet.
