I guess you have to be a high volume business to get better prices. ;(

The prices aren't out of line with what I normally see. But that doesn't meant the prices ae good. I looked up the general prices for common stuff. They are within norms but still way more than I like to pay by a fair margin. It always surprises me when I see defensive ammo for about 25-29 bucks for a box of 20 when I buy boxes of 50 through a distributor for the same or less. But that is normal. Most people aren't carrying nearly 50 rds at a time eaither so they make their money where they can.

I bought some more freeze-dried food for the stash.

Bought more rock to make flints for my flintlock rifles.

I bought a truck-tent and a Camp Chef oven.

ANOTHER oven? Way to go though.

The Camp Chef would be easier to handle/load than the individual camp stove and oven and uses the same bottle of propane. I also have a hose and regulator to hook up to a 20# propane tank. Besides, redundancy is not always a bad thing.

Got a 1 burner stove for our 1 pound canisters. For just Patty and I it will work, and it would even work for our neighbors across the road. The gal next door moved and the other neighbor us quite self sufficient. Also got another bulk pack of 22lr. Just cause.

OH and Patty bough herself a set of Nikon Prostaff 3X 10x42. She likes them. I'll just have to settle for my old Swarovskis. They're only 8x30 but man do they have the clarity. Her Nikons are VERY similar.

A relative gave me a bunch of oak 3 by 3 pieces of lumber. I’m thinking of building a carriage for my small cannon. Perhaps a naval carriage because I’m too lazy to build an Army field carriage.
