Something came up today and I ended up running around town, so the shooting will be tomorrow. I got her a .45LC/.410 gauge "Rowdy" with a three inch barrel. I plan on shooting a few PDX-1 loads as well as .45LC "cowboy action" rounds, along with a few .410 birdshot loads and a buckshot or two. I had her shoot my Ruger RedHawk .44 mag. before so I don't think she will have much of a problem.

Just got back from a super fast trip to Amarillo so the wife could have surgery. The wife is fine and doing well. I'm glad to be back

Well, we shot the Bond Arms "Rowdy" today, and it was fun. The General did a good job hitting the target at about 10 feet with all three loads we shot; PDX-1, OO Buckshot, and .45LC "cowboy action". The recoil didn't really surprise or bother her much, and she can appreciate having a double-barreled shotgun in her hands for protection. I can too!

Glad to hear the wife is OK, M/B. Also happy to hear the General did well with the derringer but I still prefer the M249 SAW to a weapon with only a two round capability.

That's good to know, I figured that little thing would buck and snort something fierce. Maybe she's just not recoil sensitive, which is nice that you can hand her pretty much anything and she could make it work.
