My wife, who is 5’1”, tried many different guns and calibers and settled on a .357 revolver as her favorite. I started her off on .38 specials at first but she said they were too wimpy. But she said my .454 Casull had too much recoil. So did a lot of guys at my club.

I like the versatility of my Taurus Judge with three inch barrel; 2 1/2" or 3" loads or .45LC.

We had a student show up at the range and they were positive for covid. So now we are shut down for 2 weeks. Every full time instructor was there. 28 other students are now off work for 2 weeks. I kind of want to jack smack them for showing up when they knew they weren't supposed to. We give 2 weeks off if you are exposed and then test positive. Free time until you test negative or heal up for 2 weeks.
Now I get to go do mind numbing work for 2 weeks since I likely wasn't exposed.

FAL'er, I don't reload the .45LC... no dies for it yet. However, for the derringer the "cowboy action" ammo is quite sufficient and I have some more powerful store bought ammo for the Judge. I keep a few buckshot and two Hornady Triple-Defense loads in it at all times.

Actually that's true of any caliber these days, except that components are harder to find. | | |

Morning/Afternoon yard!
I'm debating a new side gig. I am thinking about getting certified as a gun smith or at least getting certifications as an armorer for all the major brands.
For what most gunsmiths/shops charge for installing sights and RMR's I could charge half and still make a decent profit. I have no interest in alot of the stuff Gunsmiths do though so Armorers certs may be the thing.

In 4 days I have installed more than 100 RMR's and night sights. As long as you have a decent sight pusher it's easy as can be. And it doesn't take long.
