An air fryer showed up yesterday. I’ll spend some time today baking apple, cherry and peach pies. And for the obligatory knife inclusion, I will be using my Busse HOGFSH to cut out the pie crust.

I ordered a couple hundred rounds of 10mm ammo. Hopefully they actually deliver it this time. Last time they confirmed the order, dinged my card and then canceled it. This si the first time they have even threatened to have any in stock since July.

I'm finding ammo for regular prices here and there.

Managed to get 1K of Aquila 22lr online from BassPro a few weeks ago. Turns out my SCAR 22lr clone really likes it. I'll have to keep a eye out for more.

I also somehow ended up in a Walmart but they had MiniMags in stock so I grabbed 400 of those.

I trolled around a Academy for a while and ended up with some Throw N Grow seeds to try out in the woods and also grabbed 200 rounds of WWB in 45 acp. I got home and remember I can't even use this stuff in my FNP45. OAL is too long for the mags and it binds up. It's a stupid magazine design thing and I was ready to sell the gun because of that. I don't recall if it was fixed but I know at least one of my mags is original so I avoid WWB.

Now I guess I have ammo I need to trade.

Was the 45 priced normally? Saw a little 9mm last week...for $30 a box!

After tax I paid right at $0.40/round.

I can't remember how much it was before all what's going on now. A few years ago I bought 1K of S&B FMJ from somewhere and if remember correctly I was paying close to 9mm prices with the free shipping and no sales tax. That was a pretty good deal but i think pricing was usually around $0.36 per round. Right now it's around $0.80.

I might be off some as I don't buy a lot and I really haven't shot a lot of 45 acp.

Last I bought from SGAmmo was just a little above what I paid about a year ago. Not sure what they’re charging now, but I’ve always been happy with them. A lot of the ammo companies are trying hart to keep prices as normal as they can, but scarcity leads to competition which leads to increased prices. It’s a vicious circle and we are caught in the middle!

The ammo I just bought was actually a little cheaper than what I normally pay. Especially with free shipping. I can't complain as long as they actaully deliver it this time. It's looking good so far.
