Oh, and Yeah, they are manufactured in Turkey. Same place as I believe the Benelli's and Beretta's are.

Benellis and Berettas are still made in Italy. Stoeger is owned by Beretta, but they're still made in Turkey. Not sure about Franchi.

IIRC the Franchi's I owned were Italian.

Well I am in the process of working up some loads for my .375H&H with Woodleigh Hyrdostatically Stabilised 300gn projectiles.... at $56 per 20 projectiles (alone) I hope my first attempts at decent groups are successful....LOL Then I am also waiting for my Steyr SSG trigger guard to get back from the gunsmith so I can get that all screwed together... | | |

Benellis and Berettas are still made in Italy. Stoeger is owned by Beretta, but they're still made in Turkey. Not sure about Franchi.I stand corrected and thank you for the information. I just took for granted that since they used the benelli/beretta choke systems that they were made there.

Not sure anyone ever said exactly were in Turkey, but I do know it's a major manufacturer that makes a lot of different (branded) guns.
