LOL, I'm about to go on a mission. As usual, we are packing up the house. My wife brings up my camping box for me to go through. It's mostly empty. My new camp stove is gone. My Rechargeable lantern is gone my cookset is gone. LOL, nobody knows what happened to it. It's nowhere where it should be in the basement. LOL, I go looking and it has disappeared from any location where a normal person might put it. Its part of my preps for cooking during an outage..............

LOL, those things are expensive. And I'm cheap. I got that thing on sale for half price. I'm gonna have to hunt them down.


Edit: Found it. It was buried in with her seasonal craft stuff. All safe and sound minus glitter removal. Otherwise, I have fancy sparkly stuff. The unicorn of camp cooking.

My Camp Chef stove and oven would be ideal for emergency cooking.

I keep telling Patty we need to buy a small camper that we could tow with the Escape or the Patriot. It would also serve as an emergency disaster mobile site. Now to just find one chea er ah, I mean an inexpensive one.

Campers can be handy. I'm planning on selling mine before the move. I want to avoid too many trips back and forth moving.

41 and sunny at mid-morning here. Not too bad. I don't expect the snow on the ground to stick around much past noon today. Maybe in the deep shade but it should all be gone by dark tonight. That is one bonus to the weather where we live.
