The G-45 is basically a Gen 5 G-17 frame with a G-19 Slide. It's an odd duck but it just works. When we were testing pistols it was the one I was looking the least forward to testing. But it was clearly the winner when it came to testing.

Oh OK. But I’ll still keep m G48. IF I find some locally I might even get a couple Shield mags, which I am sure will be in GREAT demand now.. Good thing I’ve got a couple extra mags for mine.

I'm lacking on mags for the new one. But it's getting relegated to home defense and range toy. My old duty gun I probably have 20 mags in different generations. With a red dot, I can really move on a rack of plates or dueling tree. It's a fun one to shoot. Plus in 9mm the recoil is negligible.

My sight came in way early I'm almost back in business. I just need to go to the range and sight it in. I should be close based off where the dot should be compared to the suppressor sights. That and I will need to decide on a holster and If I'm going to use a WML

MB, check out TTGunleather. He built the IWB holster for my G48 and I like it as much as my VM2.

So is the G48, just not as, well let’s just say bulky. It’s designed for covert carry, not in your face try to take it if you can gun.

I'm sticking with Kydex OWB for this one.

I like the G-40. I have a KKM 7 inch barrel for mine. I want to take some time and see how big a difference the 7 inch barrel makes. I'm thinking about 100 fps over the 5 inch barrel on the G-20.

That dude absolutely ripped on the spinning and revolving target. I'm impressed.

Thought you had a G20. I think he said he got about 100fps more from the G40 6 inch barrel than he did with the Colt Delta’s 5 inches.

So I did end up getting a LWRC. I was camping out for a DD or BCM but availability and prices were crazy...found this for a couple hundred less than msrp which is apparently a miracle these days!

Edit- pics of rifles aren't workign for some reason? Weird...I'll try in next post.

Only had it out twice. Today I got the club where I can do some rifle drills which has been impossible for me for years. Great to do some up drills and speed mag change drills. Here are pics from the mag reload drill...not great but for a first time I'll take it.

And with my SA Saint Edge

I was switching out with my Holosun 510c which I really like. Found out I'm more accurate with it than a red dot...which surprises me. The donut of death seems busy to me but tighter groups don't lie. The LWRC is a sweet shooter up close. I think most of the fliers were due to the front sling attachment being close to the receiver which I'm not used to...got hung up on it a few times. Love shooting my Edge though...it's super light and soft shooting. Wish I could get to this range more. It's a lot further than another and smaller. If I take a random day off I like to go here...but only been a few times since I joined in the fall. Great to be able to do drills to transition from rifle to pistol too. Now...all I need is ammo to be in stock! hah!
