My wife and I went out and bought our retirement gift. I didn't really expect to get this exact model but it been a dream toy of mine since they came out last year. I'm looking forward to exploring in this thing.

You're going to have to click the link it won't let me post the pic.

I’d not call that an explorer vehicle, I’d call it an escape vehicle!

LOL, I would be lying if it hadn't looked at the cage and the bed and thought you could mount an M-60 to the cage, add some cross traps in the bed and have a technical. But I'm putting a roof on it so I can have some shade and a little protection from hail and rain. I settle for some creature comforts. I mean it has a glove box and cup holders. I didn't even have a cup holder in my squad car until 2016.

Here’s the 12ga with the Carlsons 8 shot extension.

[Linked Image from live.staticflickr.com]

I don’t like that it sticks out past the barrel, but the extension is steel so it should be good to go.

Now I have to figure out how to mount my TLR-1 LIGHT. I think I can mount a short Picatinny rail to the hand guard by drilling a couple holes in it and using steel Chicago screws.

Thanks Tom. But being so light it does let you know you’ve let off a round, specially if it’s a 3 inch.

Went to Cabelas at opening today and was able to pick up 500 rounds of 9mm and 200 of 556 at a fairly reasonable price. That was a nice relief. Think I've only been able to buy about 400 rounds of 9 since June. If I can buy like this 1-2x a month I'll feel much better about shooting.
