None of that skim chocolate water garbage

One last cruise of the Yard before I plant myself in front of the television. The Super Bowl is the only time I watch a football game with all those spoiled rich unappreciative players.

I read a massive percentage of them have nothing after a cpl years post retirement .. lifestyles catch up to the wallet quick

Just proves you should always have a backup plan while you’re working, I did. My plan was to retire! Worked out quite nicely.

It was a nice day here. Sunny and low 50's.

I didn't get out to enjoy it though. We made a quick trip to Lowes for moving boxes and paint. I moved everything out of the living room. We painted the living room and I refurbed the trim in another room. Patched up some nail holes and some damage from the dogs nails by the back door. A little spackle and orange peel texture and we are back in business. Hit up a few other spots as well since we will be painting that room next. I got my taxes finished and electronically filed.

Now to kick back and watch The Naked Gun 33 1/3rd and have a glass of bourbon.

No Super Bowl for us. I swore off football this year after all the woke crap. I’m not changing now. We’re watching The Man in The High Castle tonight.

Heck, I don’t even know who’s playing and didn’t even know it was tonight until the Stepson called and was talking about it.

I haven't watched the NFL in years.

That's one of the reasons I had so much time to get stuff done today. Kicking back and watching funny movies tonight. I did make a big pan of cheese enchiladas for dinner.

We are taking the day off. The wife and I are going to head out to a, more high desert area, to finish the belt break-in on the side by side and see what desert critters we can find.
