Cool.
Shot my S&W 617 this weekend. Very fun little gun. Trigger is wearing in pretty nice.

Got out the new BCM upper a couple times now and it runs great. Did a bunch of one ups today and it's smooth as silk with hammered pairs. Was quick transitioning from 25 yeards to steel at a 100. Had a Holosun 510c on it and love that reticle and field of view. If I had younger eyes I'd be tempted to run an eotech...but without my glasses on the reticle is so fuzzy to the point of being unusable.

Also had the Steiner 1-4 out and am really pleased with it. Very clear glass, great light transfer and I love the red dot. I'm going to need to work with it more up close...I'm slower with it and threw a couple shots.

Hey Rich, do you think a Holosun 510c (maybe the Green) would hold up to a 12ga.

I seem to remember reading they manage Scar recoil and googling 510c and shotguns i see people using them and referencing Holosun says they are shotgun capable. There is an insane torture test on youtube on these that is very impressive.

Like the BCM upper so much I got a 14.5" version with enhanced lightweight barrel. It's silky smooth too and shot just over 1" with Wolf Gold and PMC Xtac...I'm a happy owner! I have a few days off next week and will be getting it out for some up drills and transitions.

This 14.5 looks like it will likely be the go to gun...just need to see how it handles with drills.
