Done the suit thing. I am MUCH more comfortable in boots, jeans and a pull over shirt of some kind. (I DO reserve my SkunkHunter T-shirt for special occasions though.

I had some Cabelas bucks and decided to try and make a water bottle" oh crap" kit for my SxS.
I picked up a XL/2 person SOL bivy, A hank of Fire Cord, A small first aid kit, a NanoStriker XL and a Spyderco Bow River knife. All of it should fit in/on a Metal Nalgene bottle that I already have. The knife may have to be lashed on with the firecord though. It's a little longer than I thought it would be. I think I'll have room to put in a SOL 2 person emergency blanket/shelter if I lash the blade to the outside.

Don’t forget to add a couple more bandaids. Oh and a small septic pencil. You wouldn’t believe how handy those things can be. I have one in each of my kits and in the medicine cabinet.

The first aid kit is just a snivel kit and is surprisingly decent. I keep a blowout kit under the drivers seat. The bonus to being retired. I had a lot of blowout kits when I was working so they have found new homes among my rec gear.
