I'm back in Idaho for the day for the inspection on the new house. That's going to be another long drive straight back to my old house.
At least I have my trusty dog to keep me company on the road.

I used to have a Malamute that loved to travel with me back and forth from Illinois to Missouri. When I would stop at a McDonalds for a burger I would get him one as well. He loved the burgers but always spit out the pickle.

Randy, I got a kick out of him spitting out the pickle, and he seemed to know that he would need to do it. He loved his burgers!

He was a great travelling companion, and it was funny that so many folks thought he was a wolf. I would stop at a couple of rest areas so that we could stretch our legs and he could do his thing, then back on the road. I still miss him after all these years.
