Yea living up here does have it's draw backs, but it also has it's benefits. A good carbon knife does better up here in the winter, than does a stainless steel. Stainless is good around the coast, but when the temp goes down to 0'F and below, carbon is the best. I've seen to many grades of stainless down right shatter. I know that heat treating is a major issue, BUT I've seen drill steel, plate steel, and tools of all kind outright fail. Oh well, I'll be watching Scrap Yard. Maybe one day I can fly down and make a vacation out of the Blade Show. Does anyone know if the Busse Crew ever make it to the Northwest, say Seattle, Portland A/O?

You're running down a tunnel with no cheese at the end, RussMo. Dan produces what Dan produces when Dan produces it. He rarely gives us any kind of a heads up before he makes an announcement, so we never really know what's in the offing. He may make something from his "upcoming" knives list or he may make something completely different. It largely depends on what he manages to dig out of the "dumpster".

The only way to know what's coming is to stick around and see for yourself.

Nicely stated

Dan

Another Q Dan,

In the Knife Pics string page (1), are the knives listed by you the knives that you will be offering in the near future? I have the DF, Srp 6, YH, and YG. You have a pic that looks like a Scrapper-6, but it appears to have a 7.5"-8" blade. Is this one that's on the production menu in time?

That list is a reference of what will be introduced. The order and timing are left to variables such as dumpster materials available and what moves me.

I do post what is coming on this forum, so I would recommend to check in on a regular basis

Welcome to the fun of the Yard

Dan
