I finally got my Arms & Armor Hungarian Axe and it's a keeper. It's a little smaller than I expected, but very well balanced an fast for an axe. It's a very well done replica of a 16th century battle axe. Overall length: 51"; Blade: 10" x 6.5" and notice that the handle is not round, it's oval so you can index the blade without looking at it.

Wow that is one of the coolest looking tools I have seen in quite a while. Congrats. Do you know what kind of steel it is?

I'm not sure exactly. The head is fairly soft steel, but they welded a high carbon edge onto it and hardened it.

This appears to be ideal for repelling borders.

That looks like a medieval english or euro axe. The high carbon edge on a low carbon or iron body is the way they made them as well. It looks awesome and I love the photo but the background is the wrong culture. You need a stone wall or a suit of armour.

I have a stone wall across the street, but the neighbors wouldn't appreciate me running around with the axe. I should have taken it against the ivy a water buffalo skulls on the fence.

Very cool looking axe Ted. I really like the shape of the axe head.
