Yep most folks now understand that it’s easier for me to buy my own, give me cash, or ask for a manufacturers product number haha

Im trying to keep my wife’s bike below 1k because if she sticks with it the. I will upgrade her after a year.

I always liked norcos, my wife has an older 6 with upgraded parts i passed to her. last bike i had was a specialized sx trail and it was awesome.

Riding is huge up here on the north shore. I always preferred my skateboard though, got back into riding mtb with my kid but now shes over it and were both on boards

Haha, In MY case, a skateboard is nothing more than a broken neck waiting to happen.

LOL, I need three days' rest from sleeping wrong. I can't imagine mackerel slapping the back of my head falling from a skateboard now. When I was a kid that didn't even slow me down. Now I might just lie in place for a few hours until some took pity and scrapped me off the asphault.

I wasnt sure how it was gona go after a 15 year hiatus from even stepping on one.. and a bodybuilding career that left me about 75 lbs heavier and a completly different body shape.. but jumped right back up after the first good slam. Was very happily surprised i can still take a beating

Now that the weathers gona be wet for the next 10 months im gona shift back into bodybuilding mode.

LOL mb ive taken my share of 10-15 min power naps on the pavement after bailing trying to build some potential energy to get up dont get me wrong

I road a diamondback hard through my teens. Getting back into biking this year all I could land was a giant stance but it’s been decent so far for my area of Ohio a 130mm front 120mm travel bike makes a lot of sense. I’ve but a lot of miles on it so in a few years I will probably fork over for a carbon trail bike with a 150mm front and 140mm rear. I’m also considering a fat bike as a really fun option.

This reminds me of the only time I tried downhill skiing. I was one of the adult supervisors on my kids' school based ski trip and tried it. I got about a third of the way down the medium trail, worrying about running over some poor kid. when I fell. I thought that the snow was supposed to be powdery and soft...WRONG! I fell backwards and hit my head, and I actually saw stars! My daughter skied down to me ... like a pro ... and asked if I was OK. Besides being very embarrassed my head hurt like crazy, but I made it back down to the bottom. Lesson learned, and that is the ONLY time I have skied.
