I have the 511, scrapper 6 ( not really a SURVIVAL KNIFE) Nice to have though, Scrapper 5, 411 And The mud mutt. I tend to lean toward the 511. It’s more like the blade shape I grew up with in the mid 60’s into ‘74 when I went into the Air Force. But if I had to grab one without thought it would probably be the S5. The sharper point of the 511 would have me worried in a survival situation. I feel the “spear point” shape would be more robust.

I’m spoiled my 511 is the military over run so it’s full flat grind helps to thin it out but it still needs the shoulder bumped back a little.

I think mine is as well. Got mine at a REALLY good price!

The only “11” series I don’t have is the 1111. Kinda heavy so I probably wouldn’t carry it so the only reason to have one would be to have the whole set. Mamma needs new shoes, so…

Haha I have 2 1311 and a 911. If I knew the 1111 was coming I’d have passed on the 911.

I prefer the 911 over the 1111, mainly due to the weight of the blade for their size. The 1311 just feels better to me.

My 1311 should be here Monday.
Found a used one with sheath that's already got the shoulder bumped back.

Good morning Yard. We went from the 70's a few days ago down to 9 degrees last night, along with some light snow and fairly strong winds. Just another example of the crazy Missouri weather we get around here.

It's a brisk -2 this morning. I have sneaking suspicion the wife has a mild case of the vid. So we are skipping church today. I'll catch it online.

My 911 has been my primary user, brush clearing, batoning, fire starting, trail maintenance, heck it’s a decent thrower and it takes it and asks for more.
